The BC Hockey Hall of Fame take this opportunity to mourn the passing of two members, Pat Quinn legendary player, head coach, and executive, was a highly respected man in the game of hockey, his love and guidance has influenced every aspect of our lives, we are all diminished by his loss and Seth Martin, who embarked on a stellar career as a goaltender, backstopping his way through Europe, Canada and the USA as an amateur, professional and inducted into the International Ice Hockey Federation Hall of Fame.
Our condolences to the Quinn family, wife Sandra, daughters Kathleen and Valerie and the Martin family, wife Bev, daughters Lynne, Patti, and Susan. Both gentlemen will be missed.

The induction weekend will miss the “Big Irishman” who touched so many with his friendly smile, outgoing personality making everyone comfortable around him, everyone looked towards his stage appearance with humorous tales, past experiences, but mostly the emphasis he would greet the young and old with sincerity when in the crowd, always had the time.

Thank you to the 2014 Inductees, who enlighten the crowd with your acceptance speeches, and your families and friends who attended the weekend activities at the 23rd Annual Induction Ceremonies.

Thank you Vancouver Canucks Trevor Linden and Lawrence Gilman, the Calgary Flames Brian Burke and Brad Treliving, the Edmonton Oilers Patrick LaForge and Bob Nicholson for your continued support and attendance.

This December the Selection Committee has begun their task of selecting the 2015 inductees out of a group of extremely talented nominees to be nominated in the players, builders, referees and teams categories.

The BC Hockey Hall of Fame would like to thank Vancouver Canucks for their continued support allowing us the privilege of using the media facility to announce the 2015 Inductees in the middle of January.

Andre, Neil, Jim, Frank, Mickey, Grant, Ron, Doug, Nancy and Bruce would like to wish all of you a Very Merry Xmas and Prosperous New Year!
